Tomoyuki Matsuya x Yamamoto Takashi
Chef Tomoyuki is a 2nd generation sushi chef and the Head chef of a hatted restaurant Kame House. His previous portfolio includes working as an omakase chef at Azuma, HaNa-Jurin, and Choji Omakase. He is a beloved chef known for his traditional flavors with an innovative spin.
Chef Takashi is a passionate meat otaku and the Executive chef at Choji Yakiniku and Hanasuki. With two decades in the industry, Taka san trained and practiced in both Yakiniku and Kaiseki before eventually choosing to specialize in Yakiniku. Since then, he has challenged the interpretation of wagyu with different concept dining experiences.
In collaboration with Chef Tomoyuki, they introduced the first ever wagyu omakase experience in Sydney.

This popular collaboration celebrates the deep-rooted passion for Yakiniku that defines Choji Yakiniku , complemented by Chef Taka’s exquisite selection of premium wagyu beef cuts. On the other hand, embodying the essence of seasonality and freshness, Chef Tomo will craft exceptional sushi dishes using only the freshest catches of the day.
